Before changing careers, I spent many years working in schools, an experience that’s given me a lot. Both as a teacher and as a designer, it ultimately comes down to the same things: understanding people, solving problems, and making things more understandable and usable.
After a conversation with a friend in tech I got curious about UX, started reading up, and was hooked. It was a big step to switch paths, but also the right one.
Since then I’ve worked broadly: with flows, components, onboarding, campaigns and testing. I think design should be clear, simple and create concrete value, and I’m happiest in teams where people think out loud together.
